  • Influence thousands worldwide daily with success articles published on the Net.

What I have done…

Entrepreneurship runs in my family. My parents built a successful engineering supply company that I worked for until they sold it and retired in 1979. My two brothers own Canada's biggest and best prepress automation company. One of my sisters owns a successful human resources consulting company.

In 1980, I co-founded The Graham Group, an executive recruitment firm specializing in the placement of executives in the oil and gas industry in Calgary and Denver. I sold my share after 18 months.

In 1982, I founded L5 Consulting Ltd, a professional fundraising company and subsequently raised millions of dollars for Western Canadian charities. After 2 years, I sold my client list to a competitor.

In 1984, I founded L5 Enterprises Inc, a consulting firm that specialized in financial public relations consulting. For seven years, I helped emerging companies find financing, strategic partners, and marketplaces.

After a divorce in late 1991, I took two years off to reflect and redirect my life. During this period I also built two large country cottages in Ontario, Canada. From 1993 through 1995, I provided sales training and consulting work for individuals involved in the direct sales industry, helping take one company from start-up to over $2 million in sales. In 1995, with an initial investment of $100,000, Sandra and I launched DELFIN International. DELFIN was a leader in the personal development industry and sold, through its network of distributors, some $65+ million of its products in 20 countries.

In 2002, I launched Learning Frontier Technologies Inc, which focuses on providing wealth creation education.

In addition to my entrepreneurial activities, I am compelled to write. Since August of 2002, I have been publishing articles about success on my Prosperity Paradigm website.

What else? I have facilitated dozens of seminars in a dozen countries. I have traveled extensively, flown over a million miles, spending time in more than three dozen countries and about 150 cities, meeting people from all walks of life in many cultures. I have spent time with some of the wealthiest people on the planet and some of the most destitute. My experiences have taught me a few things.

I have learned that everyone's life is a sacred journey, that everyone needs to love and be loved and that everyone can aspire to become more. I have learned that each of us has something valuable to contribute to each other. I have learned that my own life becomes more valuable and fulfilling when I am committed to being a contribution, to making a difference in the lives of my fellow travelers on this journey called life, and to leaving this world, in some way, a better place than I found it. I apply myself, in my limited way, to that task. I hope that you will find some value in what I have to offer.

How I think…

I think that the purpose of life is to revere, relish and contribute.

By revere, I mean-- to cherish each moment, honoring the sacredness of all creation and our own personal existence within a miraculous universe.

By relish, I mean-- to completely partake in the great gift of life, to be 100% present for all the joys and the sorrows, the successes and the failures, the rewards and the lessons, and to simply, but wholeheartedly, enjoy being alive.

By contribute, I mean-- to fully accept that we are each co-creators, that we have something of value to offer and that we each need to be willing to offer the gifts that we are and have to those around us.

I think that everyone has the potential to become more, to be more fulfilled, to be more successful. I think that everyone deserves to have more: more love, more success, more happiness, more wealth and more of all the ideals held in mind and heart. I think that how and what you think, believe and feel creates your reality; and that you can choose how and what to think, believe and feel; and, that you are, therefore, capable of creating a future, a destiny and a legacy of your own choosing. I think that I have the ability and the obligation to help others to see how all that is true for themselves and to be able to make it real. That is why I write what I write. That is why this website exists.

A final note…

26 years ago, when I was 30, I spent three months in Spain. While there, I met and spent some time with the man who owned the villa next door to the one I was renting. He was a semi-retired, 67 year old, world-renowned, extremely wealthy ear surgeon. One of the many wise things he told me in our discussions was this piece of advice. Since I remember it as clear today as the day he told me, I can quote him:

"You will discover, when you get older, that you will come to regret a few of the things that you have done in life. Your biggest regrets will be, however, the things that you did not do; the opportunities you never took advantage of; and the fact that you cannot go back and do what you later wish you had done. If you do something and it turns out to be a mistake, you can learn from it. However, if you do not take advantage of an opportunity when it shows up, you can lose your only chance to create the success and happiness you want. He who hesitates is lost."
